On today's episode, I talk about the issue that sparked my interest in the ethical fashion industry and led to me starting this podcast. The Rana Plaza factory collapse was a deadly structural failure in 2013 that claimed the lives of over 1000 garment workers in Bangladesh.
In this episode, I'll take a deep dive into the disaster in an attempt to give a voice to the victims of the collapse and to demand that leaders in the fashion industry begin to create positive change.

On today's episode, I tell the story of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, a tragic industrial disaster in 1911. By remembering the victims of this tragedy, we honor their memory and hold accountable leaders in the industry who have profited off their workers' lives for over a century. 

On today's episode, I sat down with my former boss, Stephane de Messieres. We talked about the ethical consumption project that I worked on with him as an intern at Ashoka in 2021. He offered some amazing insight into the field as an innovator and changemaker, and some tips on how you all can start practicing changemaking and ethical consumption habits in their own lives.
